where or when

"It seems we stood and talked like this before
We looked at each other in the same way then
But I can't remember where or when. . ."

Saturday morning I went to Target and bought:

Michelle Branch, Hotel Paper
Radiohead, OK Computer
Flaming Lips, Yoshimi Battles The Pink Robots

I have listened to the Michelle Branch CD pretty much whenever I can. I really like her sound, although she likes to end all of her songs the same way, repeating the first line of the song at the end.

I bought the Flaming Lips CD because Alice raved about them when I saw her. As I was driving her back to Karen's house she sang me two of their songs. I think it was "Yoshimi battles robots" that decided me. What a strange album. I like it though.

OK Computer is somewhat scary. I listened to it while baking bread on Sunday night and was afraid of blasting the neighbors. I love, love, love "Karma Police".

Last night I finished reading To say nothing of the dog, a really funny sci-fi book. I really got into it and it wasn't a difficult read. I liked it. Now on to Gabriel Garcia-Marquez' autobiography and Financial Planning for 20s and 30s.
